Today, our group explained briefly about Masjid Muhammadi. We had explained a bit about the background, a uniqueness, and the activities that had done at this Masjid Muhammadi. During the presentation, our group also mentions about the suggestion that what we want to do during the exhibition. These are the suggestion:

Get the interview with the imam of Masjid Muhammadi,
Prepare the prototype of Masjid Muhammadi,
Prepare the flyers, and

Today our group are done by the presentation of a little bit about the Nasi Dagang. Today our group are explained about the History of Nasi Dagang. Our group are focusing on Nasi Dagang from Terengganu because Nasi Dagang is the one of the traditional food in Terengganu. We also explained the differences between Nasi Dagang in Kelantan and Terengganu. In Terengganu the rice of Nasi Dagang is white and the “ kuah is curry ikan tongkol” but in Kelantan the rice of Nasi Dagang is purple and there are various “kuah” that provided by Kelantanese people which is Curry Ikan Tongkol, “ayam masak merah” and “Udang Masak merah”. After the presentation, Sir Sathish give our group suggestion to find the uniqueness of the Nasi Dagang to make the Nasi Dagang are different from other such as the way of arranging Nasi Dagang which is the Rice, “Lauk”, “Acar” and “Sambal”. Sir also said that our group and other group need always update the information of the Nasi Dagang and others because he want to see the procedure of the work such as the Interview sessions, video and other.

A very good evening.
Today, our group have briefly explained about the product which is Ketupat Sotong. Ketupat Sotong is sticky rice cooked in squid with milk coconut gravy. This dish is popular in Kelantan & Terengganu with a few differences in cooking ingredients and color. Kelantan people added brown sugar makes it brownish color while Terengganu people cooked it with coconut and addition of ginger.
Our plan for exhibition is :
to show an example of both version of ketupat sotong.
to show on how to stuffed the sticky rice into squid.
to giving people chances to taste it.
to give out an pamphlet to tell people about ketupat sotong and where to it's sell.

Our next plan is to find suitable respondents in Kelantan & Terengganu to give us an information and conduct the interview about ketupat sotong.

Our group had done discuss about the background of Istana Jahar. Our group choose Istana Jahar because the decoration and building structure of Istana Jahar came from collaboration of east and west. Besides that, too much history that we want to explore and share with others.

For exhibition. During exhibition, we are planning to build prototype as visual capture of Istana Jahar as one exposure to people. We are also trying to copy some replica that had exposed in Istana Jahar. Maybe we will show some tribute during our visiting time just want to share our experience and to introduce Istana Jahar.

Presented the reason of choosing Kuih Tahi Itik as our product. Kuih Tahi Itik is a traditional famous cake in East Coast such as Kelantan and Terengganu. When making Kuih Jala Emas and Kuih Pauh Di Layang which only uses the duck egg yolks, there would always be unused egg whites. It is inevitable Kuih Tahi Itik would also be made. We choose Kelantan to study and know more about this kuih because it is more convenient for us.

Exhibition ideas:
1. Playing video of making Kuih Tahi Itik throughout the event.
2. Giving out sample to the exhibitors.
3. Design brochure or poster about Kuih Tahi Itik.

Our group chose serunding as product of group project. Serunding is a famous locality food in Kelantan. Serunding also called beef sambal or sambal daging in Malay language. Serunding can be kept for one year because it is a dried floss. It considered be famous in the area of Kampung Orang Laut, Kelantan. We are going to conduct interview in that particular area because Kampung Orang Laut is famous with serunding.

Presented about rebana ubi. Rebana Ubi one of heritage in Kelantan. Rebana Ubi is a kind of musical instrument that is classified as a drum, and is played in a beaten manner with `pemalu`. The Rebana Ubi are larger than the ordinary rebana. The diameter of the Rebana Ubi is at least 70 cm and the height is almost one meter. Depending on its size, the Rebana Ubi can be hung horizontally or placed on the floor. We also presented about history of Rebana Ubi. In the past, Rebana Ubi were used for long distance communication purposes. This drum is placed on a hill and is played according to certain rhythm depending on the news you want to convey, from the wedding ceremony announcement to the danger warning. Now, the Rebana Ubi is only used in ceremonial ceremonies or performances.

Our plan:

Serunding is a type of culinary made with spices, cooked and stirred until dry without stop to stirred and cooked and it is a very popular food among Malays. Between the usual serunding can be found is chicken serunding, beef serunding, prawn serunding, fish serunding and anchovies serunding. Serunding can be eaten at any time including during festive seasons such as Hari Raya Puasa and Hari Raya Haji. Sreunding is a traditional dish serve at Hari Raya Puasa and Hari Raya Haji.

In the past serunding was a supply of food for a long journey, as it was not easily expired and spoiled in a long journey. Preparation of serunding also need of long time to ensure that the serunding cooked and stirred until dry. During the festive seasons, serunding usually eat together with ‘ketupat’ and ‘lemang’. ‘Ketupat’ and ‘lemang’ is made by rice and it is also one of the traditional food eaten during Hari Raya Puasa and Hari Raya Haji.

The Locality and Uniqueness of Serunding Kampung Laut-Serunding is the original from Kelantan.-Used the traditional way such as firewood to cook the Serunding.-The Serunding that used traditional way to cook is have unique flavor and aroma compared to the Serunding that cook by used the gas and machine. Identify and describe the tools that currently been used to market the product.

The currently tools that been used to market the keris is exhibition in museum. It is unfortunate that nowadays young generation do not want to study and know about the significance of the keris that is strongly associated with the formation of the Malay civilization. Therefore, keris are mostly exhibit in museum to for young generation to visit and understand the wisdom of the people in the olden days. Other than that, inside the museum consists of the history about the Malay weapon such as known for its various purposes back in the days and is also commonly revered as the symbol of the Malay rulers and sovereignty. So, other than visit the model that exhibit inside museum, young generation could also understand the history about different type of keris and could enhance the interest with keris among people. Which means it was the gradually way to market the keris.

People will one step by one step to understand the source of keris by visiting to museum. Once people have interest with keris, they will start to ask and wish to know more about keris. Based on this situation, keris will promote among world of mouth. People who interest will look for the place that manufacture the new keris or keep the original keris. Therefore, most of the old place that manufacture keris will start rebuild by the keris lover. People who like to protect Malay weapon will reconstruction the building and start promote the product.

Last but not least, the target market of keris is on the people who interest with history or traditional people. They will volunteer to protect the long time keris and find the people who have talent to manufacture the keris to rebuild the product.

Today we had an interview with the local people who is selling Nasi Dagang in Terengganu. From the interview, we get a lot of information that are really useful for this report. Today in the class, we just discussing about the exhibition day. We were asked to present on how or what we will do during our exhibition day. So we give our ideas to sir and sir seems agree with our idea and he still give suggestion to us. We decide to make a poster and video during the exhibition day. We also will showing to the people about the ingredients that were contained in Nasi Dagang.

We are discussing on the things that we need to prepare for our exhibition. We also divide the task among our members to do and bring each thing. We have to make sure that everything is on check in order to mmake everything is going smooth

Our group contact the seller of etok salai. We make the confirmation and reserve the etok to buy with them for the heritage exhibition. The seller agree , but they did not sure about the availability of etok because it is raining season. But, our group will try the best to find etok for our exhibition display and tester.

During exhibition, we cooked both version of ketupat sotong. The Terengganu ketupat sotong was cooked in dtk. Some people were able to taste the ketupat sotong and compared taste of both version.
We also give out pamhplet.
Also introduce the ingredients and give chance for people to stuffed the glutinous rice into the squid
