One of the little girls raised her hand at the end and said "I love that story! Do you read it to your kids?" I replied, "I'm so glad you like it! I don't have any kids to read it to at my house." She looked at me like that was the craziest thing she ever heard and said "Do you even have any FRIENDS to read it to?!?"

I had a 5 year old in my class who came from a traumatic background and was ODD. One day we weren't able to find her and there are built in shelves within the classroom. We faintly heard the student say "I'm in here" in which we had to take a part the shelving unit to get her out of the bottom drawer... at the end of the day. One of the kids asked if they could flip it and have Somebody be the Ugly Stepsisters...

I opened the pudding and put the spoon in saying this is the only snack he had. He then took the spoon and flung it towards the ceiling yelling "I TOLD MY MOM I WANTED A CHEESE STICK."
