I definetly would sign the Mayflower Compact because I would want everyone on the same page. This is because if everyone is one the same page then people would work more like a team. If everyone on the Mayflower signed the Compact they would not get angry with each other. This will help the community to be friendly and work together. I also, think if they sign it they would all have jobs and if they all do there jobs they will be able to live. If you don’t sign the contract everyone would go and fight. They could maybe kill you if they did not believe your beliefs. Also, this would mean that though would not live longer. I also think I would sign this because I would not like to be on a boat for 66 days just fighting. So if everyone decided to sign the Mayflower Compact. Everyone would be happier. Probably less people would die and more could be born. So those are lots of reasons I would sign the Mayflower Compact.

I would sign the Mayflower Compact because what if someone does not agree with you there would be so much fighting, you could even get killed. Who knows what goes on back then. Possibly when they are fighting they could make a hole in the ship with something and then kill a lot of people. Another reason why I would sign the Mayflower Compact is because then everybody would be helping each other and getting along with each other. They are also working so hard to build there colony in Plymouth. Those are the two reason why I would sign The Mayflower Compact. |)¥|@|\|

I would sign the Mayflower Compact because there will be way to many fights if nobody signed it. And so many people would have died there would be no more Europeans there. They would not get along well and if people didn’t get along they could kill each other and someone will end up getting killed. And I would want everyone to get along. Then there will be more working with teams and you do not have to do everything by yourself other people will help you. Also if everybody signed the mayflower compact most of the people will have jobs because all the people will be friendly with another and probably accept them for a job. And everyone will be able to afford a house and live. That is why I would sign the Matflower Compact.

I would sign the Mayflower compact because if somebody does not agree with your choice there will be a lot of fighting with you and with people that agreeed with your decisions the person might not like that decision so much that you could even get killed. That’s why I think signing the mayflower compact is the best choice.

I whould sign the mayflower compact because then everyone on the mayflower whould all have the same agreement on we will sign the mayflower compact. so if I did not sign the mayflower compact everyone will all fight on we can’t make a discussion on if we will sign the mayflower compact. Also they will fight because in the video a guy had a nif and there where vilentce because they all can’t make a decision on if they will sign the mayflower compact. I would sign the Mayflower Compact because it talks about how all of the colonists working together to build the colony and also it says that they would be loyal to King James even though they would have a self-governance. It also said that they could make their own rules, and they have their own religion. Also because if you are on a boat with 101 other people who all think you should sign the Mayflower Compact, things could get ugly. In the video it showed a guy with a knife and I think they would have other weapons on board with them. This is why I would sign the Mayflower Compact.

I would sign the Mayflower Compact because you could start a new life. In the North there was a lot of land. There was a new world ahead of them. Which is now called New York City. They could govern themselfs until they elect a governor. Also if you are the one person that doesn’t sign th Mayflower Compact things can get ugly on the boat. Who knows if someone is crazy. Also if youdon’t sign the Mayflower Compact then where are you even going to go? You won’t be apart of the Mayflower Compact. You wouldn’t be apart of the colony that the colonists are making.

I would like to sign the Mayflower Compact because I would rather help other people and then they help me. In addition I would like to work with cooperation and unity. It also would be easier to work as a team because if you have 2-3 people working on one house you will get done faster and then they have the houses and natural resources they would most likely survive.

I would not sign the mayflower compact. One reason why I wouldn’t sign is you were on a boat for 66 days with you’re whole family and all your belongings, and the ship didn’t even bring you to the mouth of the Hudson River instead it brought you to Plymouth. Also the boat had to go back twice because the second ship speedwell leaked. On top of that if you got see sick, fell overboard, or died their was nothing they’d do. Also adding on to speedwell leaking it had delayed the trip even longer. They set sail in July 1620 and and got to Plymouth in September of 1620. Only the adult males could sign the mayflower compact. Everyone on the mayflower were angry and didn’t seem very friendly. They stole from each other and in the video I saw someone holding a knife. Two people died but two people were born so there were still 102 people. I would just want to go back to England.

I would sign it because if I didn’t I would be separated from my group and there would be a better chances of me dying from fever hunger and the cold. Another reason i want to sign it is because back in Britain you would get fined for practicing different reign then the originals and here you have religion freedom.and that why I would sign the mayflower compact.

I would sign the Mayflower C. Because the Compact is a set of rules Established by the English settlers saying that “the colonists would remain loyal to king James despite their need for self-governance” and many more. The meaning of these rules are basicly to be loyal to your king. My second reason explaining why I would sign the Compact is that I fear if people don’t sign the Compact a war will break out between the king and the colonists and innocent families will parish.

I would sign the Mayflower Compact. The reason why I said this is because I don’t want fightings. People don’t want to get ruled, so they will separate. They don’t want to get ruled, but they also want to have a lot of power (in this time, a lot of land meant a lot of power). They will fight over with land. The poor people don’t have enough food, place you live, and clothing. So they are going to steel the food from the rich person or person who have a lot of power. And there is going to be another fight. Some people will kill other people, which means there is going to be less people. It is going to be almost impossible to go back. I would sign the Mayflower compact because if these rule wern’t followed it would be crazy. When the storm hit, it drifted the Mayflower to the tip of cape cod. They knew that they would be let out to live on their own. They made important rules so they didn’t have people yelling at each other. I think it is important to sign this because then every settler would get fair growns with each other.
