         <description><![CDATA[<div>Denica's fact is junk food creates pimples.<br>Tianna said eating your feelings is bad. Feeling hungry and sad mad disappointed extra are very different things. As well as that healthy food is cheaper than junk food.<br>Denica learned healthy food gives u a longer healthier lifestyle and eating out all the time is bad for you.<br> Michael informed us that eating healthy gives you more vitamins and minauls.<br>Tianna learned that pop, milk, and juice do not cleanse your thirst.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Eating healthy every single day for every meal is extremely unrealistic, as we all want to enjoy our food- but incorporating one healthy meal a day or a healthy week then an normal week would work. If you create a schedule or regimen to follow you will soon grow accustomed to it and slowly see progress in your self image without sacrificing too much. If you are too attached to give up your daily ice cream or treats, you can resort to cardio which will help burn off the excess calories but could be a lot more effort than just eating a little healthier. Some advice that Joey said was to add a little bit of veggies and fruit to compensate for the junk food that teens may eat on occasion. Gabriel mentioned that drinking water was very important for the immune system, and are overall beneficial to drink. He also told us that the recommended amount of water needed is around 2 liters per day. The whole point of a diet is to find a balance of where you have all sorts of food healthy and unhealthy in order to grow properly. Too much healthy food can be bad but so can too much unhealthy food.<br><br>An AH-HA moment I had is when I always skipped breakfast yet realized it could have a negative impact because your body grows used to not being fed, so it retains and holds on to fat for longer periods of time for ''survival'' which Is why a better alternative is to just eat breakfast and exercise the calories off. An AH-Ha moment Joey and Gabriel had was when they were researching and realized how many negative effects and ingredients are in fast-food. What caught their attention the most, was how much sodium was added to every meal that tasted ''good.''</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Emmaleigh says that it is healthy to eat apples and bananas. One Ah-Ha that we have is that apparently an egg has all the vitamins possible except for Vitamin C which means that it contains over 12 essential nutrients needed by the human body. Another Ah-Ha we have is that in a 2013 study, the typical fast food chicken nuggets are only 50% meat and the other 50% is comprised of fat, blood vessels, nerves, connective tissues, and ground bone. Another Ah-Ha we have is that medium pizza from Pizza Hut has over 4320 mg of sodium which is completely mind-blowing.&nbsp;If you go for a veggie pizza instead, it has almost half the amount of sodium which is a great improvement</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Some advice that we would give to teenagers would be to continue eating healthy even when you feel tempted to eat food that you don't need to eat. For example, if you are going out for dinner and you have the choice of side, instead of picking french fries as your side go for the healthier option like a salad, or vegetables. You can also check the labels on food packages to make sure you are getting the right amount of nutrients. If you're at a fast food restaurant and you're trying to pick a healthier meal, it's not going to be that healthy considering you are at a fast food restaurant. Also, some ah-has that we found are that poutines from Wendys have 1770 mg of sodium, and a blueberry muffin from Tim Hortons has 340 calories.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Advice that we would give to teenagers would be to not give up on your goal. Although it may be hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle, remember that in the end, the results will be worth the work. In order to keep your healthy lifestyle in check, you need to find healthy alternatives to the foods you love. For example instead of having an extra large milkshake, you can make a homemade smoothie with fruits and vegetables. Another piece of advice that we could give to teenagers is to not do it alone. Although it is possible to achieve your healthy goal by yourself, having a group of people do it with you tends to be easier and can become a great support system.&nbsp;<br><br>A-HA'S -<br>-Too much sodium could cause heart disease, strokes, and breakouts.<br>-Above moderate intakes of water increases metabolism.<br>-Living a healthy lifestyle can boost self confidence.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>TIPS<br>-If you go out with friends, limit what you eat and try to stick to healthier options.&nbsp;<br>-Get a smaller size at fast food restaurants (just by getting a small, you can reduce the amount of calories you eat everyday).<br>-Limit the amount of snacks/treats you eat each week/day.<br>-Try to get an hour of physical activity a day.<br>-Get a full night's sleep.<br>-Go outdoors and try not to hibernate inside all day.<br>-Eat breakfast everyday!!<br>-Try to cut down the amount of pop and sugary drinks you consume and instead, try to drink lots of water.<br>A-HAs<br>-There are 750 calories in a medium Chocolate McShake, which is more than a Big Mac.<br>-You only need 44g-78g of fat each day.<br>-There are a lot of hidden calories in drinks.<br>-A salad from McDonalds has more calories in it than a Big Mac, so just because salads are considered "healthier", that's not always true which just goes to show that you need to check what you're consuming.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

Ex: Blueberry muffin. &nbsp;<br>- Watch what sizes you get when you order something. Ex: small, medium, large.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Some healthy eating tips are to check the food labels because you want to make sure its not the worst for your health and make sure it won't affect you in the long run. Also healthy eating can lower your chances at diseases like diabetes. One AH-HA we had was that some fast food restaurants aren't that unhealthy like at Wendy's&nbsp; the Baconator was about 850 calories and the grilled chicken sandwich was about 350 calories which is significantly healthier compared to the Baconator.&nbsp;<br>Some healthy eating tips are:<br>eat veggies.<br>eat your greens .<br>eat broccoli because it has twice as many vitamin C nutrients then an orange .<br>be careful on what you eat.<br>eat your fruit.<br>make sure your eating up to your daily limit&nbsp;<br>get a smaller size of something for example if you usually get large fries maybe down size to a medium or a small and it would be a lot healthier.<br><br></div>]]></description>
