Gary Becker's article "Allowing the Sale of Organs Will Increase the Number of Donations" states that making organ sales legal would solve the lack of organs for transplants. Becker, states that money would push more people to give organs saving lives in the end. He targets his article at the lawmakers, doctors, and regular people worried about healthcare and organ shortages. He uses logos showing numbers and economic reasoning to convince audience. While using logos works well, the argument might miss some things, like taking advantage of poor people. The info he uses, including economic models and organ donation stats, backs up the idea that paying people would increase supply. But a big downside in Becker's argument that is it doesn't really about the way the people would feel of turning human organs into things to buy and sell. His idea also falls towards free market thinking, not giving much attention to possible ethical problems.

Bart Croughs writes “The Selling of Body Parts Can Benefit the Poor" that making organ sales legal could help poor people and increase organ availability for transplants. He questions ethical concerns about organ sales by showing how they might help the poor. His article speaks to, lawmakers, and people who care about medical ethics. Croughs uses logos and ethos in his writing. He uses economic thinking to show how selling organs could give financial stability. He also tries to touch readers hearts by explaining poor people's hardships. This might persuade people, but it doesn’t address the dangers involved. The sources he mentions including talks on economics and ethics, help set organ sales as a fix for poverty and organ shortages. But Croughs argument has a big flaw, it doesn't take account the risks of forcing people or taking advantage of them. This makes it lean towards a view that puts personal choice above possible harm to society.

In Jennifer Monti's article "The Sale of Human Organs Should Be Allowed" she promotes the legalization of organ sales. The article's goal is to make a case that a market for human organs could save lives while keeping in control. Lawmakers, healthcare members of the public, and doctors are Monti's intended audience. She mostly uses ethos and logos, helping her claims with ethical, medical, and economic arguments. This works well for presenting a good argument, but it downplays the moral concerns of exploitation. Medical and economic statistics, among other sources stated, the topic by studying organ sales as a practical use.

The article “Creating a Market for the Sale of Organs Is Ethical” by Curtis E. Harris and Stephen P. Alcorn, says that a controlled market for the sale of organs solves the organ shortage problem in a morally and practically acceptable manner. This article tries to disprove the claim that organ sales are unethical by saying that there’s a place in which organ sales are compensated, but ethical restraints are also put in place. This article is focused on healthcare providers, lawmakers, and the public interested in health care. The authors mainly used logos and ethos. Their argument shows that we can protect against exploitation and while increasing the supply of organs. However, their argument could broken by downplaying the real problems.
