Short description: The project focuses on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), emotional intelligence, and wellbeing in education. It helps students understand, express, and manage emotions, show empathy, and build positive relationships. By integrating emotional literacy into everyday school life, it encourages reflection, creativity, and collaboration.

Students and teachers from partner schools will work together on activities that highlight how emotions shape learning, relationships, and decision-making. Through art, storytelling, games, digital tools, and intercultural exchanges, participants will explore emotional diversity and learn constructive ways to communicate and cope.

The project’s main goals are to develop emotional intelligence skills (self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, motivation, and social skills), promote mental health and wellbeing, and strengthen collaboration, creativity, and digital competence. It also supports teachers in applying SEL-based practices in their classrooms.

Key activities include Emotion Diary, Emotion Art Gallery, Kindness Chain, Cultural Emotions Map, Digital Storytelling, and Let’s Talk About It online discussions.

Running over 4–6 months, the project aims to improve emotional literacy, empathy, and intercultural understanding. Expected outcomes include collaborative digital products such as e-books, videos, and posters, the exchange of teaching strategies, and an online exhibition celebrating students’ creativity and emotional growth.

How well do you know the effect of digital technologies, social media on wellbeing? Every day, billions of people use them very frequently. Although they have provided us with access to more information than ever before, their use has both positive and negative effects on our mental health. In the past, we depended on reliable journalists, media organizations, and sources who were bound by ethical principles. However, the internet has made it possible to publish, share, and consume news and information in a completely new way with hardly any restrictions or editorial guidelines. Nowadays, a lot of people get their news from social media networks and websites, and it can frequently be challenging to determine whether a story is credible or not. An increase in fake news or hoax stories has also been attributed to heaps of information and a general lack of understanding by people of how the internet functions. In this project, we will analyze how the use of social media significantly impacts mental health and why using social media responsibly is crucial.
