We do cross curricular activities- finding ou what core contents are teaching and collab together on projects

Some of the Health Projects are STEAM based. I encouraged the students to think outside the box, have them come up with the essential question they want to ask.  Allow some grade levels to pick their own technology to present to me the information they have learned.

Overall just how the STEAM program is going to work? Are we going to get training on it? Does it go in steps

Will we have a similar opportunity for next year other than the STEAM in sports?

I know that a lot of our staff have really made a concerted effort to implement STEAM into our lessons and instructional goals. 

In PE, we are doing some cross curricular activities with TechEd, Science, and Independent Living classes. I, personally, have integrated some newer technology into my Health and PE lessons and you can see the classroom immediately begin to liven up.

PBL allows our kids an opportunity to break the mold from the traditional style of learning and allows them to branch out and begin to discover what type of learner they really are, or can be. 

Excited to see where the STEAM integration takes us in the near future.
