Morris grew old and moved on from the books, when he left the books they waved their pages goodbye. A little girl found Morrises books and began reading.

I enjoyed how nice Mr. Poe was to the children and when he said,” look what I brought for you, Pepperments.” It was very kind even though they were allergic to them. I did not like when Count Olaf made the three of them share a lumpy bed. A person who likes mysteries would like this book. I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

At the beginning of the story, we jump right into the action. Our main character, Wyatt, falls into the river while white water rafting. Then, we have a flashback to when the guide, Brody, is teaching them safety on the raft. Wyatt and his brother are joking about falling into the water. His brother whispers,” Wouldn’t it be awesome to fall in?” (Robie 2). Then they go rafting, while rafting, the see and save another raft that is stuck. After that, Wyatt falls in the water. Wyatt remembers the instructor’s safety tips and is able to swim to another raft safely.

The setting of the story is white water rafting. I know because the narrator stated that,” Wyatt was perched on the edge of the raft” (Robie 1). They were at the Arkansas River with a 10 mile stretch of whitewater. The water was very wavy and intense. The main problem in the story is when Wyatt falls off the boat.

Personally I enjoyed the book Series of Unfortunate Events the Slippery Slope. I enjoyed how smart the Boatalairs were in the book for example when Klaus said,” Do you still have those Verdant Flammable Devices Quigley?” (Snicket 222). I knew he was very smart. I did not like when the ran into Count Olaf and he held Sunny Hostage. A person who likes mysteries would like this book. I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I know because Violet said to Count Olaf,” Klaus has just finished doing some legal reasearch to defeat your scheme” (Snicket 179). I knew they were very smart kids.

At first, Margaret’s main concern is how to avoid Gordy the local bully. Gordy is very violent and mean to the girls I know because Margaret said,” Well, I don’t think it’s good manners for somebody to spit on another person” (Hahn 143). Which Gordy had done and that he spat on the girls which was very mean. The girls are really angry when Gordy wrecks their tree house. But when they search for Gordy’s forest hideout, they learn a disturbing secret. These secrets will change their understanding of the war.

“Gordy muttered something that sounded pretty nasty and turned his head away” (Hahn 190). A few weeks passed and Gordy ended up moving away. By the end of summer school had started back up and everything was good again. Mid semester Margaret and Elizabeth were much happier without Gordy around. The next summer Margaret and Elizabeth attended a overnight camp and loved it. Margaret and Elizabeth attended the camp for 6 more years. That is how stepping on the Cracks would end if I wrote it.
