Not only are kids growing and learning so many new things a day, but they are also having to adapt to so many new life changes. Throughout covid there have been all these changes from school routines to regular family visits. I believe teaching 1st graders how to look at change could be a great help to them. Then they will write around each major change things such as, how it made them feel, when it happened, what was the outcomes, etc (creating a web for each change).
