They are defined by their intellectual curiosity, determination, and readiness to engage with the challenges of a rapidly changing world. Each member of the team approaches learning not as a routine but as an opportunity to explore, question, and grow.</p><p>The strength of the <strong><em>SuccesHunters</em></strong> lies in their openness to new perspectives and their dedication to innovation. They are eager participants in projects of all kinds—academic, cultural, scientific, and technological. Whether they are engaging in research, presenting creative ideas, or developing IT-based solutions, they show discipline, responsibility, and a strong sense of collaboration.</p><p>Our team places a special emphasis on the integration of <strong>STEAM—Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics—</strong>as the foundation for critical thinking and creativity. Through this approach, the <strong><em>SuccesHunters </em></strong>cultivate the ability to connect knowledge across fields, see patterns, and generate solutions that are both practical and imaginative. English serves as our working language, allowing us to communicate effectively in international contexts and expand our vision beyond local boundaries.</p><p>The <strong><em>SuccesHunters </em></strong>are also active citizens who value teamwork, leadership, and intercultural dialogue.          <description><![CDATA[<p>This is our team! It is a group of hard working and dedicated students who are always eager to achieve the best result.</p><p>Our school has always had an intense and serious focus on programs and projects involving our students to extra-curricular activities. Not only the management of the school but also the teachers have been trying to seize every single opportunity offered to organise and participate in programs and projects offered both by the Ministry of Education and Culture as well as by programs offered by the European Union like Erasmus+ projects or E-Twinning projects. This involvement offers unique possibilities to both the teachers and the students to benefit by it. Our students have been young Ambassadors for years visiting the European Parliament attending sessions and becoming young spokesmen. During the past years they have also participated in MEDIMUN which is a program organised in our country and in which our students are asked to deal with topics like the Environment and sustainability, the war and disarmament, space exploration and many more. Topics that cover the social and scientific concerns of the European Union on a national and international level. We have completed Erasmus+ projects as partner school and have created strong bonds of friendship with other schools.</p><p>The primary objective of the school is to promote sustainability and environmental awareness to preserve both local and international environmental identities while respecting and safeguarding the natural and unspoiled beauty of the area where they live.  The school collaborates with The Research in Science and Technology Education Group (ReSciTEG) of the University of Cyprus.Also, our school coordinates a National school STEM butterfly biodiversity monitoring programme in collaboration with the STE(A)M Learning Ecologies (SLEs) is an EU-funded project (Horizon Europe) <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.steamecologies.eu/">https://www.steamecologies.eu/</a></p><p>The Butterfly monitoring project highlights the necessary conditions for bringing together the school with the community. </p><p><br> <br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>We are a dynamic team of students from Gimnazija Metković (Grammar School) in Croatia. Our name is METSTEM, and we are all part of the elective course “Chemistry through Research”, led by our mentor and teacher Antonela Dragobratović. We decided to take part in this project to show that girls, together with boys, can advance STEAM education in our school. After warming up with some KAHOOT quizzes, we began exploring the challenges faced by the engineers who built the Burj Khalifa.          <description><![CDATA[<p>~HOW TO BUILD A PENCIL TREBUCHET~</p><p>For this project, we designed and built a small trebuchet to demonstrate basic physics and engineering principles. The goal was to create a device capable of launching an object using stored elastic or mechanical energy. We focused on stability, accuracy, and distance, testing different materials and designs to improve performance. This project helped us understand concepts such as force, tension, and projectile motion in a practical and fun way.</p>]]></description>

         <title>&quot;SuccesHunters&quot; Tallest Building Challenge </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>For this challenge, our team had to build a tall and stable construction using only spaghetti and marshmallows. The goal was to make it stand on its own and stay strong even if the table was moved. At the end, we tested it by shaking the table to simulate an earthquake, and our tower managed to stay up without falling.</p><p>The materials we used were spaghetti sticks as the main structure and marshmallows to connect the parts together. The marshmallows worked as soft connectors that kept the spaghetti in place while we built the shape.</p><p>During this project we noticed that we uses several fields of STEAM it is part of Engineering and Science because we had to test balance, structure, and stability. It also involved Technology since we thought about how real engineers build strong buildings that can resist natural forces.</p><p>From this activity, we learned how important it is to plan before building and to understand how weight and balance work. In real life, this can help architects and engineers create earthquake-resistant buildings and safer constructions for the future.</p>]]></description>

         <title>&quot;SuccesHunters&quot; The Bridge Challenge </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br/></p><p>SuccesHunters were also able to build a small bridge that was elevated in the middle so that a toy car could cross it without collapsing. Our goal was to make it stable and strong enough to hold the car’s weight while keeping a nice shape.</p><p>We used cardboard, string, tape, and paper towel rolls. The cardboard made the base of the bridge, while the paper towel rolls acted as towers on the sides to keep it balanced. The string helped to support the bridge, and the tape kept everything connected and secure.</p><p>This activity connects several fields of STEAM from Engineering and Mathematics, because we had to measure, plan, and test the structure carefully, to creativity, making the design look nice and functional at the same time.</p><p>This challenge helped us understand how bridges are designed and tested in real life. We learned that even small changes in shape or material can make a big difference. In the real world, these principles help engineers build safe and strong bridges for cars, trains, and people.</p>]]></description>

         <title>&quot;SuccesHunters&quot; Car Race</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In October, SuccessHunters successfully completed several creative projects — one of them being a car made entirely from recycled materials such as cardboard, tape, straws, bottle caps, and balloons.</p><p>During this project, we discovered how much we were using our STEAM skills, for example:</p><p>1. Science</p><p>We learned about motion and forces, understanding how push, pull, and air pressure make the car move.</p><p>We also explored friction, noticing how the car’s speed and direction changed depending on the surface and wheel design.</p><p>2. Engineering</p><p>We practiced design and construction, planning and adjusting our car for better stability and movement.</p><p>Through problem-solving, we found creative ways to fix issues like air leaks or wheels that didn’t spin properly.</p><p>We also showed innovation by experimenting to make our car go faster or move farther.</p><p>3. Art</p><p>We expressed our creativity and design skills by choosing unique colors and shapes.</p><p>Using aesthetic thinking, we combined function and style, making our car both effective and visually appealing.</p><p>4. Math</p><p>We practiced measuring and calculating, checking straw lengths, wheel sizes, and travel distance.</p><p>We also applied geometry and symmetry to keep our car balanced and aligned for smooth motion.</p><p><br/></p><p>    Although it looked like a simple task, this project helped us understand real-life applications of what we learn in school.</p><p>We used the same basic principles of motion, air pressure, and energy that engineers apply when designing real cars, airplanes, and rockets.</p><p>It also strengthened our problem-solving and innovation skills — when the car didn’t move straight or the balloon leaked, we worked together to find creative solutions, just like real engineers.</p><p>By using recycled materials, we also promoted sustainability and learned how to reuse and repurpose waste in meaningful ways.</p><p>Working as a team allowed us to practice communication and collaboration, valuable skills for any future project or career.</p><p>Finally, we saw how math and science connect to everyday life — from measurements and calculations to testing real models.</p><p>    All in all, we had a lot of fun with this project and we’re excited to take on even more creative STEAM challenges in the future!</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Our STEM Mărțișor Project</strong></p><p>This is our handmade Mărțișor created in a STEM style. We designed these small flower ornaments using simple materials and creative thinking. First, we planned the shape of the flower and how the parts would fit together. Then we used recycled or craft materials such as plastic pieces, paint, beads, and string to build the petals and the center.</p><p>The red and white string represents the traditional Mărțișor symbol of spring, luck, and new beginnings. By creating it in this way, we combined art with engineering and design. We experimented with colors, structure, and balance so the ornament would look beautiful and stay together.</p><p>This project shows how creativity, problem-solving, and design thinking from STEM can be used to reinterpret a traditional Romanian symbol</p>]]></description>

         <title>Team ”SuccesHunters”</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>  As part of the <strong>”You are what you eat” project </strong>we decided  to prepare <strong><em>homemade hazelnut milk</em></strong>, a healthy and natural alternative to regular milk.  At the end, we added chia seeds for extra nutrients, fibre and texture.The process was simple and did not require any special equipment, but it did require attention to each step. We found the activity interesting and useful, and it helped us understand the importance of choosing healthy foods. We realised that including few simple changes in our lifestyle we not only contribute to our body's wellbeing, but also improve our mood and mental health.</p><p>  For the creation of this video, the participants were <em>Ungureanu Mirela, Novic Renat, Ungureanu Nicoleta, Ciobanu Adelina, and Petica Vladalina.</em></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This month, <strong>SuccessHunters</strong> took on a new and exciting challenge: exploring what modern schools look like today and imagining what the schools of the future could become.</p><p>As part of this project, our team created a video in which we researched some of the world’s most innovative schools and explored the ideas, designs, and learning environments that make them stand out. We spent time gathering information, sharing our opinions, comparing different approaches, and discussing what we believe makes a school truly inspiring for students.</p><p>After learning about these schools, we worked together to create our own vision of a modern school. We discussed different ideas, sketched possible designs, made changes, improved details, and combined our best suggestions into one final concept. We wanted our school to be a place where students feel motivated, comfortable, creative, and excited to learn every day.</p><p>Throughout the process, we learned how important communication, planning, and teamwork are when developing a shared idea. Each team member contributed something different, and by listening to one another, asking questions, and solving small challenges together, we were able to turn our ideas into something meaningful.</p><p>Creating this video also helped us look at education from a new perspective. It made us think not only about what schools are today, but about what they could become in the future and how learning spaces can influence students’ confidence, creativity, and growth.</p><p>This project encouraged us to think bigger, share our ideas more openly, and believe that even students can contribute valuable ideas for the future of education. We are proud to share our video and our vision, and we hope it inspires other teams to explore, create, and imagine their own schools of the future.</p>]]></description>

         <title>“Team Photon Innovators”</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In this experiment, we collected water samples from several different sources in order to compare their chemical composition and quality. The samples were taken from the Prut River, a lake, tap water, bottled still water, mineral water, well water, and a storage basin.</p><p><br></p><p>For each water sample, we analyzed and calculated the values of different substances presented in the table. By comparing the results, we were able to observe the differences in mineral content and other chemical characteristics between natural, drinking, and stored water sources.</p><p><br></p><p>This activity helped us better understand how water quality can vary depending on its origin and the environment from which it is collected.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>For this <strong><em>storytelling challenge</em></strong>, we created a video about dinosaurs and survival. Here's what we made and what we learned from it.</p><p>Our story follows <em>a group of dinosaurs</em> living peacefully on Earth until an asteroid strikes and destroys everything. A small group of survivors hides in a cave, waiting through the cold and darkness until the danger passes. When they finally come out, they discover a world that is still beautiful — full of nature, lakes, and light. It's fundamentally about <em>survival, resilience, and appreciating the beauty of life</em>.</p><p>To create this, we wrote a script, recorded voiceover, and made a three-minute video using Runaway AI and Canva. The whole process taught us a lot about how to tell a story that actually works. We had to think about pacing, how to make scenes feel right, and what tone would make people care about these dinosaurs. Working together on the script and then putting it all together with the tools we had showed us how many small decisions go into making something feel real and meaningful.</p><p><strong>Storytelling</strong> is important because it's how humans communicate things that matter. Stories make people understand ideas and feel things in ways that just giving facts doesn't. A good story can make someone care about something they never thought about before, and that's powerful. That's what we were trying to do with our video — tell something that would make people think about  resilience, the beauty of the world, and <strong><em>the simple happiness of being alive.</em></strong></p>]]></description>
