The importance of teaching approaches and strategies is it caters to diversity. Students in any classroom are diverse in terms of their learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds. Teaching approaches provide a framework for educators to create an inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all students, regardless of their differences.

In my opinion, different type of science teaching approaches keeps students engaged and foster participation. It also encourages students to apply what they've learned, which can enhance long-term retention of information. It promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills by requiring students to think and interact with the material actively. For example, PBL allows students to solve real-world problems, making learning more relevant and applicable. PBL also promotes self-directed learning and encourages students to take ownership of their education. Moreover, constructionism allows for exploration of various viewpoints and perspectives on complex issues. It promotes diverse perspectives and collaboration among students from different backgrounds. 

Other than that, teaching approaches is important as it can build up students self-intrinsic by presenting their satisfied hard work in ways such as presentation and gallery walk. 

Teaching approaches is important too in placing student in a centre while learning.  Lastly, different teaching approaches bond a good relationship between teacher and students, as the teacher are no more the dominator in a classroom, and the relationship between teacher and students are collaborators.
