When people still conquered and defeated countries and striving to be a king. For me, the main protagonist of the story, Napoleon Bonaparte was... you could say an interesting gal. He was cruel and selfish and he wants to DESTROY Britain for no apparent reason! (At least, not mentioned in the story). The battle of Waterloo somehow reminds of the time when the Philippines was conquered by different countries. Maybe its because the attitude and ego of the rulers are always mostly the same (lol). But overall, Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled at the end of his battles. I guess it is for the better of the world that he isn't rampaging around conquering countries like he is taking candy from toddlers right?
