both waves have the same amount of energy/volume 
they both have a different frequency 
if the vibrations are more frequent the higher the pitch if there less frequent the lower the pitch.

2 things I wonder about: 
How do other musical instruments change their frequency pitch?
How is it useful in other activities to have a lower/higher pitch for sound?
