By riding a bike to school and back you can reduce your carbon footprint by 4110 every time I need to travel to school. This would prevent around one million grams of carbon dioxide from being released into the air.

Easily, we can reduce power by shutting off unused lights in the house, and unplugging any unnecessary electronics. This mean unplugging appliances such as microwaves and toasters when not being used. especially in this winter season, this means space heaters as well.
This one may be a little extreme, but installing solar panels on roofs of home will also help with environmental energy exhaustion.
Energy companies actually give discounts on households who decide to install.
Even switching out your existing light bulbs to LEDs. Speaking of switching to energy efficient electronics, you can even try to buy larger appliances that have the energy star logo on them . Products with these logos are actually recognized by the EPA and have been proven to save YOU money , and the environment from potential exhaust.

A very simple way people can reduce their energy usage is by sharing rides whenever they can or using alternative transportation methods. Carpooling reduces carbon emissions, saves money, reduces traffic congestion, and can be very fun! Most people have roommates, family, or even friends that would be happy to do simple things like errands and grocery shopping together. If people could understand the amount of energy is wasted when we use our cars then even just the simple task of riding along with someone a couple times a week could greatly reduce the amount of energy we use.

Therefore, in order to provide better storage for your food, extend its life and keep food fresh one should use reusable containers.
