BASIC IDEA:
*Use this as a base to create a 15-30 minute program on the songs that are meaningful to each shinshin around Yom HaZikaron.
*Highlight that many songs of Yom HaZikaron are focused on peace and the end of wars.
PROGRAM:
*Choose one song of appropriate Hebrew level. It's important that this song is one that the shinshim has a connection to (even if the connection is simply that they know it well)
*Go through a song (or just a few selections), translate/identify words they know.
*Have participants ask questions, if there are any
*Learn to sing part of the song

For use with their own program idea:
*Use a program that the shinshinim have already led, or experienced in high school
*plug in the content - stories of fallen soldiers, their favorite foods, and stories of their families.
*Make it more personal. Likely the shinshinim can find something in one of the stories that they connect to (where the fallen soldier was from, their favorite food, something about their family.
OR share the story of a fallen friend or family member (if they want - this could of course be very emotional).
