I would say SHIP work is very messy; hence, developing a good evaluation activity is crucial. OSHII should develop clear guidelines to show stakeholders that SHIP is making a difference in the community.

The new financial guide would be more useful if it was more inclusive like the guidelines in the past. The exclusion list was really helpful in the past.

It would be nice to at least have suggested evaluations for similar projects.

Not just a CLT issue / coalition issue - getting people together to engage - how to define roles - have to be very intentional about what you want from the group - not just engaging during the meeting, but in between / updates. If you know what you want from them - have to keep asking/be very passionate.

It can be difficult to find CLT members that are interested in all the SHIP context areas. We currently have a very small group of members, but it seems to work for us, as those that are involved are truly passionate about all four of our context areas.

Changing of Guidance Documents

Have standards for when things like the financial guide will change, when we plan for projects and then the financial guide changes and we were able to do certain projects and now they are unallowable it's hard to keep momentum with partners who may be interested in doing similar work.

The CLT model does not work. It should be axed. It is a requirement mandated by government. The every day, lived experience people we want to engage and provide leadership do not engage in this type of structure.

Is there a study that shows a county with CLT does much better than a county without a CLT?

we are switching our schools awards this year to be smaller, in an effort to reach more/different sites than in the past. There is a deadline for applications and a scoring rubric to hopefully make it as fair as possible. It's a more "formalized" process than we've had previously, which has pros and cons. It's a big learning process!
