The first radar system was created in 1935 by British physicist Sir Robert Watson-Watt. Radar was one of the most important things used in the RAF(Royal air force) during WW2. Radar was one of the few reasons WW2 was won by Russia and Germany. Radar is a was people in wars best friend because it detects Missiles, other war ships/jets, submarine and more. It was like a life saver to many people out there. It could be used as both a defensive and aggressive unique tool.

HOW A RADAR WORKED?

A radar uses radio waves To detect near by units. Radar specifically stands for RAdio Detecting And Ranging = RADAR. A radar sends out electromagnetic waves similar to the same waves as mobile phones and network connection. The radar sends out pulses every couple seconds to scan throw the near by area to spot any units, once it spots something the waves reflect back to the radar to send a signal. Kind of like when sound reflects of objects and water.

• A Radar will sometimes not show the information exactly, for example the radar might show heavy rain but might not be raining at all.
• Radar is used on most Call Of Duty games also known as UAV/HATR... and more which scans the map for enemy's so you can see there movements.
• A Radar can also be used to see the weather. For example it will see where it will be hot/cold rainy/dry... its being used today.
• The further away a unit is the weaker the pulse is and less chance of the info being correct.
