It has not been tested or researched enough for scientists to know the relationship between a healthy lifestyle and NHL. Along with your diet and lifestyle, your environment can contribute as well. If you are exposed to radiation or chemicals such as insecticides or benzene throughout your life, your chance of getting NHL could increase. To help keep the risk low, try to maintain a healthy diet and limit exposure to radiation and harmful chemicals.

A stem cell transplant, which is generally used when there's a good chance of NHL coming back, when a person is beginning to show signs of recovery, or if someone no longer responds to treatments.
