Failure to give affection leads to developing mistrust of caregiver.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Physical growth and changes are present, in which motor sensory skills are developing from walking to running and jumping. Cognitive development is rapidly growing, in which they develop language skills and start to speak in sentences, but they also have very short attention spans.&nbsp;<br><br>Autonomy vs. Shame/Doubt: Stage where toddlers have confidence in taking care of themselves, versus doubting themselves due to overly protective parents.&nbsp;<br><br>Care Considerations:, Caregiver can give them simple directions of tasks, one at a time, but also keep in mind to give them limits and watch for their safety. Failure to do so can lead to the toddler to not believe that they cannot do things by themselves.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Physical development is still rapid where motor sensory develops even further, in which they have a better sense of balance. Cognitive development significantly grows, in which they're able to speak well in sentences, but still has a short attention span.&nbsp;<br><br>Initiative vs. Guilt is when the preschooler becomes more confident to learn and find new experiences, versus the preschooler develops guilt and hesitates in taking new challenges.&nbsp;<br><br>Care Considerations: the caregiver should praise them for good behavior, and have them to be more outspoken about unfamiliar things. Failure to do so will lead them to feel restricted to do new things, resulting in feeling guilty.</div>]]></description>

Cognitive development develops as one is able to see things from another perspective and they have a longer attention span.<br><br>Industry vs. Inferiority is when the school-age child receives approval from other people, versus not feeling that they're enough and lack of self-worth develops.<br><br>Care Considerations: Encourage child of independence but still enforce limits to them.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Physical development has drastically changed which&nbsp;<br>the reproductive system is maturing and fine motor skills are more improved.&nbsp;Cognitive development develops further as one is able to acquire large amounts of knowledge and use reasoning skills, leading to being able to start developing their philosophy of life to create their future identity.<br><br>Identity vs. Role Confusion is when the adolescent tries to find new roles to find who they are, versus having no direction will give them a lack of sense of who they are.<br><br>Care Considerations: Provide space and privacy, and let them choose their actions.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Physical development starts to stop where physical growth ends. In addition, skin starts to lose moisture and weight gain issues occur after 30 years. Cognitive development also stops, but cognitive skills are at its optimal condition, where they have excellent creativity and problem solving.<br><br>Intimacy vs. Isolation is when the young adult learns to have responsibilities and may form intimate relationships with others, versus having fear of commitment which can lead to isolation and loneliness.&nbsp;<br><br>Care Considerations: Teach the adult the way they want to be taught, and have them look for body language regarding feelings.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Physical abilities start to decline where one starts to lose muscle mass and motor reflexes and joints start to respond slower. In addition, one is more likely to have a chronic illness. Cognitive skills start to decline but still strong, where creativity increases, and problem solving and memory is still good. But, learning may take longer.<br><br>Generativity vs. Stagnation is when the middle adult makes a contribution in life and recognizes achievements that they made, versus being guilty about themselves and being obsessed with health concerns.<br><br>Care Considerations: Encourage them to stay healthy such as, self care, and stop bad habits.</div>]]></description>

In addition, cardiac, immune and renal systems start to decline.<br>Cognitive skills also declines but may vary from person to person. But, one is most likely to still have strong problem-solving and creative abilities.&nbsp;<br><br>Ego-Integrity vs. Despair is when the young-old adult experiences a sense of satisfaction which boosts their ego, versus them experiencing their disappointments and failures, leading to sensing sadness.<br><br>Care Considerations: Encourage working on their cognitive skills such as learning, thinking, and memory. Continue to be physically active, whether they're retired or not.</div>]]></description>

But, one is more likely to have dementia in this stage.<br><br>Ego-Integrity vs. Despair is when the old-old adult experiences a sense of satisfaction which boosts their ego, versus them experiencing their disappointments and failures, leading to sensing sadness.<br><br>Care Considerations: Assist with their self-care, such as involving family members with care giving. In addition, support their end-of-life choices.</div>]]></description>
