Judy was able to safely cross without getting hit. Judy then stood by a low wall and lost her balance as the van sped by, causing Judy to fall down. Nancy, a woman driving behind the van, was shocked and she feared that Judy had fell into the water and possibly hit her head on the rock.Luckily it was not a rock. Judy had landed by the embankment and was somehow unharmed. Judy's parents were killed in a boat explosion a few years ago and they did not leave much money for Judy. Judy wanted to study music and dancing, as well as go to college, but the aunt's fear they will never be able to give those things. The father of the two aunt's had a cousin named Josiah Crowley, and she would always help the two aunts and Judy. Josiah used to always visit them and he was very generous with his money. Sadly, he passed away and the aunts believe he left an extra will for their family. A significant event that happened so far is that Nancy found out that the two Hoover sisters who took her into their farm / home when it was raining, had an uncle, who was Josiah Crowley. he apparently used to live right next to them. Nancy may be another step closer to solving this mystery. Another one is when Nancy was told about Josiah Crowley also helping the Hoover family, but once he moved in with the Tophams, he was silent, and never said anything anymore. The third one is that the Allison sisters said Josiah did not like living there and he would try to visit the Hoover's as much as he can. Uncle Josiah often said the Hoover sisters were like his children. The last day the Hoover's saw him alive, he said " I have a big surprise that will make you girls happy. But I can't tell you now what it is. You'll see it in my will. (Paraphrased what he said ) ( So far only found three. )

They are the Mathew brothers. Apparently, the two aunts of Judy know about them because these two sisters were supposed get married to the two Mathew brothers. Sadly, their wedding  was cancelled since the two sisters had a family tragedy. Nancy then leaves and is now on her way to Titusville. This is where the Mathew brothers live.. As Nancy was driving by, Nancy spotted a whining police dog puppy. She then picked it up and saw a tear in the flesh of one of its hind legs. Nancy decided to bring the puppy to a man that was on a mower nearby. As Nancy was walking, she heard a growl of anger behind her. It was this huge police dog! Nancy figured it could be the mother of the puppy and so she tried to calm the dog down. A farmer comes to her to check and she was fine. That farmer was Fred Mathews. Nancy then talked about the situation with both Fred and William Mathews. None of them knew any clues. Nancy then left and went on to the next person, who was Abby Rowen. When Nancy got to baby's house, she thought it was abandoned because it looked pretty bad. When Nancy knocked on the door, at first nobody responded. Then a voice was heard. Nancy asked if she could come in but the voice, who was miss Abby, said she could not open the door. She was not able to walk because she had fallen down. When Nancy got In, she was lying down on the couch and was very weak. They had a short discussion and then Nancy went off to buy food, medicine and bandages for miss Abby. Once she got back and miss Abby was fed and treated, she started talking saying none of this would have happened and she said that she would have had someone taking care of her. She said Josiah Crowley personally went up to her and said he had prepared a personal handwritten will for her.

Nancy was happy because that was a new and important clue, but hope may have sort of been lost when Mrs. Abby said the Tophams have the clock of Josiah Crowley.
