Just like Taylor, it helps me to know I'm not alone. That makes me realize that it's ok to ask for what I need when I'm upset.

The Rabbit Listened is also a window for me because I like to be quiet when I'm upset, but other characters didn't. Some wanted to yell, or talk, or hide, or laugh. The Word Collector is a mirror for me because Jerome and I both love special words that are interesting. This makes me realize that in order to be a weather man I need to learn big words. The Word Collector is also a window for me because Jerome is African American and i'm not but we both love spelling and words.
