Starting first on 1621, 17^th century, the day of the Corpus, a person dressed up in a yellow costume and resembling a devil will cover all the streets in the village accompanied by the drum of de Atabalero.

The Big Week is one of the biggest festivals in the north of Spain. It is dedicated to the Virgin of Begoña, known as Amatxu. It is a celebration of Basque culture as religious. Most Basques who live in Bilbao usually take it as a week off. There is a lot of music with many free shows during the week in various places in the city.

The "Romería de El Rocío" is a religious holiday which depends on the annual date in the calendar, but every year is celebrated after the sunday of Pentecostés. During these days there is a pilgrimage to Almonte, where is the hermitage in which the virgin is located, first they perform a popular tradition called "el salto de la reja". Once there, they take out the virgin called "Blanca Paloma", and they walk her through the village.

The Paso del Fuego is the most characteristic act, celebrated on the night of San Juan. At midnight, the people of San Pedro, preceded by three trumpet blasts, cross barefoot, without burning, a path of incandescent embers (brasas) laid out like a carpet.
The people that cross usually carry a person on their shoulders so as not to get burned, because the more weight the more pressure you do against the fire.

The men's suit consists of trousers, shirt, sash, suspenders and Marseillais jacket. The top button of the jacket is always buttoned, but the bottom button of the vest is unbuttoned.
