Human effect on Reservoirs

Humans have had a big impact on reservoirs. Because of the dams and water being used many

fish are now extinct or endagered. One of the reasons is for this is a fluxuation in temperature

which takes place becasue of the rise and fall of the water level. Abiotics in reservoirs are effected

because a lot of silt is removed from the floor bed which is where a lot of abiotics reside. An example

of biotics being effected by humans in reservoirs can be when the temperature increases in reservoirs

because of a decreased water level which then creates more algae which then restricts oxygen levels

and kills species depedent on that oxygen.
