I went to 'Kazbah' in darling harbour to enjoy Turkish food. I went there with my two friends. The interior was really nice that gave me feeling of being in the middle eastern countries. The colors and the patterns of the wall and the tablewares were all followed the Turkish style. All of us were not familiar with middle eastern food so we asked a waitress to recommended us the dishes. She recommended 'Falafel Fritters' which is cooked with coriander Tahini and Crushed Hazelnuts and 'Beef Short Ribs' which is made with Za’atar Mash Potato, Grilled Shallots, Beef Jus & Chermoula. We waited the dishes with expectation. The first dish came out and even though the dish was 22 dollars it only had five pieces. Therefore we thought it was a service food which are offered before a meal. We tried and for me the taste was just normal. It contained the coriander so it was not that delicious for me. It was our mistake that all of us didn't know the meaning of coriander. The main dish came out and the visual of the food was nice. However similarly the amount of food was not enough compared with its price. The taste was nice. Especially hashed potao was delicious if served with the meat. We oreder a coke and I was shoked with the price again. Just a cup of peppsi was 6 dollars. It was a nice try to experience Turkish food in Sydney. However, I think the restaurant sells the food with relatively high price with so so taste.

To find new taste, my friends and I went Kazbah, which is a restaurant to serve Turkish dish. We ordered Falafel Fritters, Beef Short Ribs, and Pepsi.

Falafel Fritters($18.5)

It consists 5 pieces. I think the main point of the Falafel Fritters is the sauce. It is chermoula with a little bit of mayonnaise. The surface is very crispy.

Beef Short Ribs($39)

The sauce tastes like the bbq. The mash potato makes good appetite. However some vegetables were blackened.

I want to give this restaurant the score of 4 out of 4.5. The taste of the foods is nice, but the attitude of employees is so so. Although the number of customers is small, they had a little attention to us. We had difficult asking for having straw. Except for it, It is great experience to enjoy Turkish food.

My Korean friends with me plan to eat lunch ,We choose restaurant at kazbah. First of all, we  took the subway to Chatswood, after then we changed  transportation to TownHall by train.

when we arrived there, there was a bar on the right side of door.  I thought the restaurant was decorated in a simple style. I don’t why there were no people at the table, only two waiters. For me, I don’t care.

We looked at the menu, we ordered “Beef short Ribs “and Falafel Fritters “.The most interesting thing was that we ordered a Iced Coca-Cola.

I thought these food are delicious and special, However, the sauce was a bit bitter and the beef was a bit greasy. But when I saw the scenery outside, I felt it’s ok.

In conclusion,  I think it’s fun to be with my friends and do anything. We plan to try other delicates if we have time. It was special day. Unfortunately, Weather temperature is too high😣
