My journey as a U4SDGs Ambassador has been truly transformative. This experience has deepened my understanding of sustainable development and strengthened my commitment to making a positive impact in my community. I have learned valuable leadership skills, how to work collaboratively with diverse groups, and the power of youth voices in driving change.

Throughout this journey, I have grown both personally and professionally, gaining confidence and a clearer vision of my role in shaping a better future. The connections I’ve made and the stories I’ve heard inspire me daily to continue advocating for the Sustainable Development Goals.

I have made lifetime friends that I will cherish for the rest of my life!

On this International Youth Day, we, the Burundi Girl Guides Association (BGGA), reaffirm our commitment to creating a greener, safer, and more sustainable future for all.

Through our Global Youth Mobilization (GYM) Project, we pledge to raise awareness among students on the urgent realities of climate change. We will inspire young people to take action, adopt eco-friendly habits, and become leaders in protecting our planet.
