• If I were to convince the Malaysian Gen Y employees to start adopting to Japanese work culture, first they would have to gain exposure to Japanese work ethics.
• For this they would need to work simultaneously with Japanese workers to adapt their ways effectively . 
• With constant interactions and from working side by side with Japanese employees, only then will they be able to make comparisons between their work ethics and japanese work ethics. 
• Then they need to check the effectiveness of these ethics in their working life and be able to evaluate. 
• The Malaysian Gen Y employees will get used to the Japanese work ethics unconsciously.
• In this case the employees with go through a trial and error scenario through different situations they have been handed over. 
• The work ethics of a different culture should not be forced on the employees but they should be given time to do it with their own pace. Also if a certain employee stands out between the rest in terms of following the ethics he/she should be rewarded so the other employees can look up to him/her.
