For what we accomplished and what we are going to.

Ashley's Comment: Grant, I liked how you talked about graduation and how every things going to be changing and about how your heart shows you what to do. I like how you say some dreams are just dreams but they can turn into something if you pursue them.

Also I found interesting the scene of the painter showing his life through his art. I think in some ways we all are artists whom purpose is to create a masterpiece out of our life, something to be proud of showing others.

Tanner: this was really good and fun to read i liked all the ties to art

It also shows how they learned so much and now its time to become an adult and go their separate ways. Well done.

You used to be the one to make my day,

But now I think why have you gone away.

Now I know there is nothing I could say,

There was so many days that I was grey.

For many months went past when I was sad,

The time had been stopped and the future lacked.

It was sad that I didn't want to be glad,

I felt like all of it was just an act.

I hoped that you weren't actually gone,

I wanted all of it to be a mistake.

But instead I had to face each new dawn,

With the feeling that I had a heart ache.

I won't be sad, one day I'll see you soon,

But till then I might just look at the moon.

Grants Comment: Although this sonnet is sad, it is also a sonnet that speaks out gently. This Sonnet is about the death of someone/or something. And this then affects your life, hoping that whatever is now dead, wasn't actually dead. This sonnet may be depressing, but it is a very great sonnet. Great job Ashley

Edo's comment: I recognized in this sonnet what I went through recently and I really feel every word that you wrote about getting through the loss of someone and how strong we have to be thinking that we'll see everyone we lost again. You made me think of my grandma with hope and a smile on my face, thank you.

Morgan's Comment: I feel like a majority of people can relate to your sonnet. When you lose someone who was very special to you, you go through the things that you mentioned in your sonnet.

Linda's Comment: This sonnet is all around sad. When I first read it, I thought it is about someone far away. But after I saw that picture, I knew what's your mean. It just give you so much pain when someone you loved dead. But I can see, you are trying to stay away from sad in the end.

I think it's good to talk about this and put it out for people to see. It really shows how society is today. Nice job.

Sam: Wow, I would have never been able to put something like this into words. It's really strong. Hard workers are the ones that will make it through in the end because it was earned. Really nice job.
