What you need: some sheets of paper

Number of players: two or more

The end result will depend on how much paper you have and how many people play.

The game consists of players taking it in turns to make drawings of animals.

One person begins by drawing an animal or part of an animal on the paper, without telling the others what it is. Then they fold the paper to cover the drawing and pass the paper on.

The second player has to connect up with the end of the first person’s covered drawing and use it to start a new one of a different animal or part of an animal. Then, in turn, they pass the paper on to the next player, careful to hide their own drawing.

The number of turns will depend on the number of players. If people are keen to carry on you can add more sheets of paper to your scroll.

When everyone has finished, spread out the paper and you’ll find you have a small zoo, where each animal has been created from the one before.
