I'm a huge fan of the more simplistic magazine covers. This cover image in particular makes great use of vivid colour, imagery and white space. If I were to choose a favourite magazine cover out of all of the pictures on this mood board, this would be it.

I like the colour scheme that they have gone with and stuck to. I also like that they incorporated a well known and loved puppet.

I find the imagery very clever in this article. I like how the model appears to be going to step onto the text. It brings realism to the text and gives it more of a physical presece.

I really love that the article contents reside in the silhouettes of two men conversing with each other. If possible, I would like to incorporate something similar in one of my own magazine articles.

I am impressed by the overlapping of images and that the dove in the image has an image of the back of the models head as if they are walking away. Essentially, I am saying that I enjoy this cover for it's abstract qualities and colour scheme. I am also a fan of the sophisticated typography used.

I like the colour of these various magazine layouts but I also find them hard to look at. I wouldn't necessarily take this as a form of inspiration but rather as a warning to not make my magazine layout too busy as it will distract the reader from the actual content of the article.

I like the abstract imagery as well as the use of white space. The colours are vibrant but they aren't unbearable to look at or too distracting.
