Which I did, and nobody was reporting anything about it. I was texting all my close friends and relatives saying how much I cared about them and then we found out there was no missile coming. He told me to go downstairs immediately and I didn’t know what was going on. When the 5 of us were in the basement, my parents told us that there was a missile threat and that it was coming to Hawaii any time soon. I was super scared and confused and I remember asking my mom what was going to happen. I was at a wide open field with no covering, and while we were setting up, I felt my phone buzzing like crazy. I took it out of my pocket and my coach told me to put my phone away and I couldn’t react in any other way but just show him my phone. We all ran to the car and luckily, he lived nearby so we went to his house for shelter. My parents and siblings were all freaking out because there was no way to know if everyone was safe. I was at home with my mom and brother, and my dad had gone off to work. I was on my way to the bathroom in elementary school with my friends and the huge earthquake came so we ran into the bathroom.
