We continued to report price gouging and inventory hoarding to the State level, but it was difficult to prevent during the emergency. Finding equipment and supplies. The City of Henderson used Amazon Business and they found that very helpful, and if they has been able to have that available to them, it would have been helpful in the beginning.

They tend to ask for forgiveness rather than permission (On the fire side).
They were behind on technology greatly. They did not have to deal with Mac products until the pandemic. It took them a tremendous amount of time because the IT team did not have the ability to support them.

They were finally able to get temporary assistance on the finance side, and having that ability to expand their human capital quickly was helpful to them. The ability to use zoom/webex/etc has improved their ability to collaborate with others and it has been extremely helpful. They have used it across a lot of different areas in the fire department in general. 
The use of Amazon Business is a best practice and the ability to use that going forward would be helpful.

She thinks, at the time, the county tried to do a good job following up with self care, and that has kind of tapered off.
