Mr Arnold said it wasn't him (I believe him cause we had to explain to him what Padlet is) and that if this message from "Mr. Porter" got on his desk, (or was notified) of someone impersonating him and 'enforcing false rules' under the guise of being the principal. That would have a lot of consequences.

If anyone knows who's doing this, tell them to stop. It doesn't have to be public. But if who ever it is keeps doing it it could end up very badly.
