When he was in prison, Malcolm learned a group called Nation of Islam. In 1952, he decided to join the group because they teach that Blacks were superior to Whites. Malcolm was always against the ideas of the civil rights movement. He didn’t rule out to violent methods and he wanted to establish a separate Black nation. Then he left the group in 1964. While he was speaking in NYC in February 21st 1965, he got shot and killed. Three members of the Nation of Islam were accused of the murder.

Barack Obama was elected president in 2009, he was part of the democrates. When he was president, je fought for many reasons like Irak during the war, for U.S forces remaide active in Afghanistan… And he has also naimed two new justices to the supreme court.

He was elected president in 2008 and started his term in 2009. He was part of the Democratic Party. As president he work in many issues, like the war in Iraq and keeping U.S. forces in Afghanistan. He also appointed two new justices to the Supreme Court.

Before 1863, it was segregation in America. It means that people were treated very badly and unfairly just because of their skin color. They were separated from white people in every public places. Then, in 1863, President A.Lincoln wrote the Proclamation which stop segregation. In 1865, he made the 13th Amendement official. In the 1950’s, the Black Civil Rights Mouvement appeared. Many people fought for their rights and for freedom such as Martin Luther King, who gave a speech called “I have a dream", or Ruby Bridges, who was the first Black person to go in a all White school. In 1964, Civil Rights became a law. Unfortunately, it isn’t over because some people still thinks that races existe so they hate them only for their skin color.
