One being that everyone is heard, opinions can be shared and new topics of discussion can be brought in. Not all the opinions will be good or agreed on as a group, but having a mix of thoughts on what the people themselves think is good for them should be taken account for. Another positive is that while not everyone will agree on a decision, it would be the most liked out of a communtiy, rather than having a single ruler make all the decisions for a community based on their own beliefs. Some Negatives of Democracy could be fights breaking out, or poor desicions being made by people with little knowledge. If a fight were to occur over an opinion, someone may get injured depending on the amount of power behind the attack. Some people might agree on a choice that could backfire because they don't have a lot of knowledge on the topic. They have input the rules that are enforced on themselves. But a drawback could be that it takes longer to properly enforce a rule, and it could cause some real problems to the government if the people who vote are split into groups that agree or disagree on a matter, especially if they're the same group because then the entire government is arguing against itself.
