Business 1:
I can't say we got a lot of help. We have people of commonwealth came. But in fact the town got together to support each other was more helpful and effective.
Government offers financial help, but it was depended on if you have a close of business. If you have to close your shop you receive $20,000, and if it was lose of trade and you could prove your loss of earnings, that was $10,000.
The vouchers did help brought people in the town, but most people came for accommodation.
As future plans, the government made regulation on new builds. Other than that I am not really sure.

Business 2:
The government didn't help with my business. Because we are a new business and when the flood came our business was less than 12 months old. We didn't fit or meet any of the requirtiria for assistance.
The vouchers have been helping and one benefit we've had from that is we had orders from food campus. And that's part of the government initiative. We've been getting orders through the local government through the local visitor information centre so we've had some positive benefits through having those camps. So we've had some benefits. It was last week we were applying for a potential 10,000 grant and that we were eligible because we are new business.
