In its classical use the intention of the poet is that man should only aspire to two goods: health of the soul and health of the body; these should be the only requests to be addressed to the divinity who, emphasizes the poet, knows what man needs more than man himself.

In modern use, however, a different meaning is attributed to the phrase, meaning that, in order to have the faculties of the soul healthy, one must also have the faculties healthy by virtue of the psychophysical unity.

I agree with these expressions because also in my opinion you must have a healthy body but even a healthy mind.
