The rabbits saw the fox stuck in the trap and quickly got to work getting him free from the trap. So the fox was surprised that the rabbits had helped him, even though they were enemies. Then the fox and the rabbits became friends.

So he could jump higher than any other whale, and signal to the sailors that he was there to help. The other whales saw Wally jumping and came to help, too. Then after that day, the other whales in the ocean realized that Wally wasn't so strange after all. They saw that he had a special talent that could help others.
