Gene help determine the physical appearance of a person. For example: eye color, hair color, skin color, hair texture and etc. Those are things that a person is born with or develops along the way. Whereas that person's environment around them can determine how they adapt or change their physical appearance. Prime example would be moving to a different state with a totally different climate to what a person has been prone to living in. First, their way of dressing will change. Then, their skin complexion might change depending on if they'll get a tan or become lighter due to the lack of sunlight. Basically, genes are something that cannot be changed but the environment is something that can be and can be adapted to. Just think in terms of evolution

Cognitive, Plastic, and Contextual. Cognitive is known as the thinking or knowledge. An example of this would be a child's speech ability as a baby and as they grow up, their vocabulary tends to expand and become broaden. Meanwhile, plastic can be understood by the example of the removal of the baby's brain and seeing that they day dream just as an adult does. Lastly, contextual is determined or brought upon by social and/or physical environment. An example of this would be social ranking whether wealthy or poor determines how one is raised or brought up and the physical environment as in the community or setting, will also dictate how one carries themselves
