It is a technique use to create a fingerprint by separating fragments of DNA molecules through an electrically charged field.
Scientist use it whenever they need to sort DNA strands according to length.
Steps:
1. Make the gel.
2. Set up the gel apparatus .
3. Load the DNA sample into the gel.
4. Hook up the electrical current and run the gel.
5. Stain the gel and analyze the gel.

Bacterial transformation is the exchange of genetic material between strains of bacteria by the transfer of a fragment of naked DNA.
Examples:
1. A tomato farmer who crops were threatened by beetles and to fix by adding a new strain to the tomatoes so the beetles will go away.
2. Modified fruit and vegetables that can contain various vaccines to help people who can't afford it.
3. When Hunger is a problem in a developing country to fix it they have a biotechnology company genetically modified a rice plant that can thrive in salt water, providing the nation with the to feed the people.
I don't think cloning is that bad. If we use it for projects that may help us in the future like cure diseases we should do it, but if were using it for our own amusing we should not clone.
