         <description><![CDATA[<div>The parent function is&nbsp; just the type of function such as y= |x| from say f(x)= -2|x|^2 +3 .<br>That the negative on the x in a function like f(x)= -x ^2 makes all the y's negative, (x,-y).<br>If x is being multiplied by a fraction is gets wider, also meaning that if its a negative factor it becomes a reflection.<br><br>also yea.. i need help on how to get f(x)=(3/x-2)+1 to turn into (x+2, 3y+1)</div>]]></description>
