I think the measurements out and placing things in the best areas. Accounting for shadows and other hills on the ground causes issues to make the perfect design to help for plant growth. Prem and I also made it challenging with accounting for foot traffic and studying where those people travel.

What was your biggest learning moment in this project and why?

Utilizing space to account for all the needs of people. Being able to identify the trends of people in the area we are using and account for those trends with pathways or open area. A major part of engineering is to identify what trends the people use and how the design will benefit your objective while also accounting for the other people.

What advice would you give to someone doing this project next year?

Make sure your idea fits the necessary needs of sunlight and water. The main focus would be to make your design realistic and then focus on the optimal materials for that said design.

Which design that you have seen do you think is most compelling and why?

I enjoyed Hannah, Eimilo, and Jakes group because I saw a lot of realism while also utilizing important tactics for plant growth and using the land properly. I could see the effort and research they put in and thought it showed very well in the presentation.
