Unlike Inventor that we use extensively, Onshape allows students to work anywhere, anytime, which often results in my more engaged students producing work on their weekends, after work at night and before school. OnShape can be monitored from a teacher perspective, and can be set up to view, comment and suggest edits. This is a great collaborative and peer review tool, as students cannot cause problems for other students. teaching ethical use is important and this program doesn't allow them to test the boundaries.

I don't teach senior, but could see this been used to record the applied subjects, rather than the PowerPoint they complete, or even alongside the PowerPoint.

Seesaw allows me to engage students, satisfies their need to be on their phones, and is easy enough to monitor for use. It is not as deeply engaged with outside school, some students do actually upload their own projects, but unfortunately it is discouraged - too much risk.

The feedback section is a simple comment and react, it works well.

Like all things on my journey, i needed to understand that teaching the students HOW to use this is just as important. They need to learn how to use things for the purpose they are made for. That simple. I was the problem and needed to change my outlook towards the learning process.
