Kinsa diay ko? Wa sad ko kabalo, HAHHAHA! Hey everyone! My name is Charess F. Pahayahay, you can call me "Cha²", or anything you like, but I’d be really happy if you call me "Love". I was born on March 25, 2004, and yes, I came into this world the usual way—through my mother and father, of course! HAHAHA. I’m the third child among my siblings. I enjoy reading, cooking, listening to music, and I LOVE HIM (secret na lang kung kinsa!). But more than all of that, I’m just a simple girl with a big heart, still learning about life—but always ready to love, laugh, and live fully.

I am from Antipolo, Tuburan.

I grew up in a not-too-small barangay in Antipolo, Tuburan, Cebu. It’s a quiet place where the sea is close and life is simple. Antipolo is known for its lovely beaches like Chona Beach Resort and Antipolo Beach Resort. People go there to relax, swim, and enjoy the view. When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time by the shore, playing and watching sunsets. The fresh sea air and calm surroundings made it feel like home. It’s not a big place, but it’s full of good memories and a peaceful feeling I’ll always carry with me.

I completed my primary education at Nangka Elementary School. Back then, I was an active kid who loved sports. One of my most unforgettable moments was winning third place in the long jump, I couldn’t believe it myself, especially since I was one of the smallest player that time. For my secondary education, I studied at Sta. Lucia National High School, where I completed both my Junior and Senior High School years. I transferred there in Grade 8, and even though I was new, I was able to make great friends and adjust well. I set a goal to become an honor student, and I’m proud to say I achieved it. I remained a consistent honor student from Grade 7 all the way to Grade 12. Now, I’m continuing my journey at Cebu Technological University – Tuburan Campus, where I’m a second-year student taking up a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. Looking back, each step in my education shaped who I am today driven, dedicated, and always ready to keep learning and growing.

Cooking, reading, and music my simple joys and peaceful escapes.

I have a few hobbies that make me happy and help me feel calm. First is cooking—I love experimenting with food, and I enjoy cooking for my family. It’s satisfying to see them enjoying the meals I prepare. Second is reading, which allows me to learn and grow. Every book I read gives me new ideas or lessons. Whether it's fiction or nonfiction, I find joy in discovering different perspectives. Lastly, music is my go-to escape. The right song can calm my mind, lift my mood, and take away the stress of the day. Music feels like a friend who's always there to help me relax and recharge.

Growth begins outside the comfort zone.

One of my proudest accomplishments is being a consistent honor student from Grade 7 to Grade 12. It wasn’t always easy, but my hard work and determination paid off, and I’m truly proud of that achievement. Another moment I’m proud of is when I successfully delivered a public speech. As someone who’s naturally shy, especially in front of a crowd, it took a lot of courage to stand up and speak confidently. That moment reminded me that growth often comes from stepping outside of your comfort zone. These accomplishments may seem simple, but they represent how far I’ve come—and how much more I’m capable of achieving.

I carried the weight of a broken home but I chose love over bitterness, strength over surrender.

I've faced many challenges in my life, especially when I had to take on the role of a mother, father, sister, and brother to my siblings. We came from a broken family, and I was the one left to take care of them because I had no other choice. My mother and father were not living with us—they had their own new families. It was really hard to carry all those responsibilities, especially since I was only 14 years old at the time. They left everything on my shoulders, and I had to grow up too fast. Even when my parents gave us money for groceries, they would ask for receipts because they didn’t trust me. Despite all the pain, I never gave up. I stayed strong for my siblings. And even though life was unfair, I chose to love, protect, and guide them. Now, I believe that everything I went through made me stronger. One day, I will turn all this pain into purpose—and I will build the kind of family filled with love, trust, and hope.

Problems has shaped me as a better and stronger person I am right now.

These challenges have made me stronger, more responsible, and more mature than most people my age. Taking care of my siblings taught me how to be patient, loving, and selfless. I learned how to stand on my own, even when I felt tired and broken inside. Because of everything I went through, I’ve grown into someone who values family, loyalty, and hard work. I may have been forced to grow up too early, but now I know I can face anything. These struggles didn’t break me—they built me into the person I am today: brave, caring, and full of purpose.

One of my biggest dreams is to travel around the world with my family. I believe it would be more fun and unforgettable to share those adventures with the people I love. I want us to explore beautiful places like Palawan, Siquijor, and many other islands in the Philippines. Before we visit other countries, I want my family to experience the beauty of our own beaches first. This dream means a lot to me—it’s the kind of dream that makes my heart full just thinking about it. But I know that before any of this can come true, I need to study hard and stay focused on my goals. I understand it won’t be easy, and there will be days when I feel tired and overwhelmed. But I keep going—because I have a purpose. I believe that one day, all the sacrifices I’ve made will be worth it. And when that day comes, I’ll be standing by the shore with my family, watching the sunset, knowing that I never gave up. In God’s perfect time, my dreams will come true.

Behind my smile is a heart that’s healing but I choose to spread joy anyway.

One fun fact about me that others may not know is that I can make people laugh, even when I’m sad inside. I try to make others smile because I know that, like me, they may be going through a lot. I’ve learned how to handle my own problems quietly, and I’ve become good at hiding my emotions. Not because I’m pretending, but because I don’t want people to see me as weak. Sometimes, making others happy is my way of healing too. And in those small moments of laughter, I feel strong—because even with a heavy heart, I choose to bring light to others.

Keep going, stay kind, and trust God’s timing. Every struggle has a purpose and with love and hope, I’ll never give up.

My philosophy in life "Keep going no matter how hard things get" . Life isn’t always easy, but I believe that every struggle has a purpose. I believe in working hard, staying kind, and trusting God’s timing. Even when I feel tired or lost, I remind myself that I have a purpose—and that better days will come. I also believe that love, especially for family, is one of the strongest powers in life. So I choose to live with hope, strength, and a heart that never gives up.

My biggest influences and inspirations are my family. Even though we've been through a lot, especially with our broken setup, they are the reason I stay strong. My siblings inspire me every day, they remind me why I keep fighting and never give up. Taking care of them at such a young age taught me how to be responsible, patient, and loving. Even though our parents weren’t always around, the love I have for my siblings became my greatest motivation. I want to give them a better future and show them that no matter what we’ve been through, we can rise above it. They are my reason, my strength, and my inspiration to keep moving forward.
