         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;Latitude controls the amount of solar radiation reaching to the earth surface. &nbsp; That is why snow is often seen on top of the mountains all year round, even in tropical areas. Solar radiation turns into heat only when it is absorbed by a body of matter.
