The art of doing nothing

When I was younger, I spent most of my time doing absolutely nothing and I was great at it. Over time, I have learned that pretending to be productive is basically a skill. Last week, I made a to-do list and then lost it straight after. Recently, I have been trying to wake up early but my bed has other plans.So far,I have learned that being responsible is mostly charging your phone before it dies.Yesterday,I looked at my goals and laughed. I have promised myself Ill be more organised probably tomorrow.Honestly,I have accepted that chaos is kind of my thing.

I have lived in Eygpt for ten years, but I moved to Qatar only after I finished college. When I first arrived, I didn’t know anyone, and life was quite difficult. Over the years, I have made many friends and learned a lot about the local culture. I have also visited almost every famous place in town. Last year, I started a new job at a marketing company, and it has been a great experience so far. Since then, I have improved my communication skills and met some amazing people. Just last month, I went on a short trip with my friends, and it was one of the best weekends I’ve ever had.

I walked through the door with you, the air was cold, yet it still felt like home somehow. I have tossed my scarf onto a chair, just to feel a little more free, even amongst the cold that filled the air. You looked at me with that sweet disposition, and I could only look back with my wide eyed gaze, my doe-like eyes swallowing you whole. You could tell I was in pain. I knew I have asked you for too much, I remember it all too well and everytime you double cross my mind it just reminded me of your betrayal. You were my best friend, and I still kept my love for you even after everything. You kept me like a promise, but I kept you like a sacred oath, one that could never be broken. Time won’t fly, it’s like I’m paralyzed by it, I’d like you to be your old self again, even if you have tried to find it. All your trials and errors, all the misconceptions and yet you still kept my old scarf from the same day I left it. Just between us, do you remember it all too well?

Noura has always loved reading since she was a child. She has read many interesting books this year. Last week, she visited the library and borrowed two new novels. She finished one of them yesterday, and she has just started the second one. Reading has helped her learn new words and improve her writing skills.

I have left Egypt since 2013 and I have lived in Qatar for 12 years.I really love Qatar it’s my second country. Last year , l went with my class to trip in quest , it was an exited experience. Last week we started exams , it was a little bit hard. so far , l have learnt how to be an excellent student . I have started study since almost one hour. You have to study the least for one hour . I hope from allah(taala)to be from the first girls on the school.🥹

Last week , My best friend started with me a meeting the FaceTime app , she asked me what happens when she has been to Paris . So I start telling the hole story :” The teacher has called the names to take the prediction for 5 minutes , And she called “Sara, Sara !?, where does she go ? “. So , I raise my hand and I told her :” She has been to London twice to have a calm travel’s trip. But at the moment , she is going to Paris , for her surgery “ The teacher said :” I have seen her airpot’s tickets and I thought that was fake !” I have stood up and I went to her . She wonders why I came . I opened my phone and I have shown the proofs . “ She has gone for 2 weeks , and now she is going for 3 weeks , How she will pass the exams ? “ she asked . “ she studied the hole curriculum , last week “ . “
