My experience was not as bad as I thought it would be, I learned what bisquares are and also learned about score and slip. I didn't know about score and slip before we started and that caused a little damage to my project, all the little circles came off and I had to "glue" them back, I wasn't so happy with this project there are so many bisquares and it bugs me, but I absolutely love how I cut the lid out even if I totally forgot to as for approval ( I'm sorry Abrams!!!) I LOVED how the color on the inside turned out to look it's amazing! I named this project "selfish mar", "selfish"  that word sounds a lot like shellfish and shellfish has to do with the ocean. "Mar" because it means ocean in Spanish and because I call my best friend Marlene that. I'm very symmetric, my mind tells me I have to make all the designs the same. I tried so hard to make my project look different from others, that's always my goal, I don't want my project to look like anyone else's project so I was thinking "outside the box" just like Mrs.Abrams told me when I added those coil triangle pieces. I took this project home during winter break I clearly remember finishing it at home and being so proud and excited to start glazing it. I loved this project the color on the top is my favorite it looks super shiny and smooth. The greenish color at the bottom was not suppose to be green, but decided to leave it because bears are around nature. This is the first soft slab that I made, but it ended up not being thick enough so it started to fall apart and I didn't like that. I started on a new soft slab and it came out better than the first time. I couldn't find a texture that I liked so I decided not to add that. I expected the roses to be a dark red, but it didn't come out like that which kinda bugged me and I hope I have time to fix that SOOOON! Frida Khalo's art has bright vivid colors, mostly red, yellow, and dark blue and that's the look I was aiming for. I loved the citrus splash!
