Out first day in London! We arrived, visited the school, walked around the city centre and then met our host families. Everyone was so excited about the new experience!

During the 2nd day we had the first english class in the morning, the we visited two museums, the queen’s house and the maritime museum. In the afternoon we went to Chinatown to discover other traditions and habits. We had much fun

Day Three

During the third day we visited the Horniman Museum where we saw a tree of wishes and walked around the garden.

In the afternoon we had the pleasure to admire the Prime Meridian near the Royal Observatory.

Last but not least the teachers let us had fun in the funfair!!

Day 4

Today was the best one so far. We visited the traditional Sunday market, an area so vast it took us almost two hours to explore it all. There were lots of stands selling everything you could possibly think off, from clothing, to silly accessories, jewelry, vintage vinyls, prints and much more, of course there were brand stores too. Then we went to the Graffiti Alley, with it's astounding and unique street art. Unfortunately when we couldn't hold ourselves too much, given that we also had to go visit Camden Town. It was a bit crowded, but the food was awesome, and so was the place. We had lunch, visited some shops and then went to the National Gallery. At the same time we got to see Trafalgar square in all of its glory. Finally, some of us went to a secret pub hidden inside a fridge, while others roamed around a little more before going back home. Everyone was so excited and we all had much fun!

Today we have been at school all day, from 9 am to 5 pm because on Monday it is the Summer Bank Holiday: during the last Monday of August a lot of shops close and students don’t go to school. At school we get ready for the first b2 exam.

On the fifth day, we went to school in the morning, where we spent some time studying and doing activities together. After school, we visited the British Museum, one of the most famous museums in London. We saw many interesting historical objects, including the famous Rosetta Stone, and learned more about different cultures and civilizations. In the afternoon, we went shopping and had fun exploring the shops and spending time together. At the end of the day, we went back home and had dinner with our host families. We talked about our day and shared some nice moments together. It was a really enjoyable day, and we had a lot of fun!

Day 7

Today, we went to school in the morning and we did some activities to prepare us to the exam. Then after school we went to the Victoria & Albert museum where we saw beautiful historic clothes and fashion from different eras, as well as famous statues and sculptures. After that we went to Harrods where a few of us bought some gifts from the Harrods shop. Afterwards some of us went to Whittards in piccadilly circus to taste some free tea and hot chocolate while others went back home to their host families. We had so much fun today!!

This morning we went to school and spent a few hours in class. Afterwards, we visited the Natural History Museum, one of the biggest and most interesting museums in London. During the visit, we were able to see many different exhibits, including fossils, dinosaur skeletons and numerous precious stones. It was a very interesting experience because we had the opportunity to learn more about the history of the Earth and see some truly unique exhibits up close.

Finally, we went to Whittard Chelsea 1886, a famous British shop known mainly for its teas and products related to English tradition.

Today, we started our morning by going to school where we took a test for our upcoming exam. Afterwards we went straight to Hyde Park where we had our picnic and enjoyed the scenery. Then we went to the Science Museum by foot. There we discovered human biology, the evolution of energy and machinery. As our next stop we went to Notting Hill there we saw beautifully colored houses and markets.

Day 10

This morning, we started by watching the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. After that, we walked through St. James's Park, went to admire Big Ben, and continued our stroll across Westminster Bridge, passing by the London Eye. In the afternoon, we visited the Tate Modern and then finished up at Borough Market.

Today was another amazing day in London!

In the morning, we met at Paddington Station. From there, we took the Tube to Camden Town. Camden is incredible! There are so many original shops, and the atmosphere is so unique and alternative, with amazing street art everywhere. We also loved the street food market - everything smelled so good!

We stayed in Camden until around 2 p.m., just walking around and exploring.

After that, we went to Tower Bridge. When we saw it, we were completely amazed! We walked across the bridge and the view of the Thames and the city was absolutely beautiful. It was a perfect way to end the day.

London never stops surprising us!

DAY 12

The 12th day was pretty much a free day, it was bank holiday after all! Although the weather was quite windy (and saying quite is an understatement) we all had fun anyways. In the morning everyone did different things, some went to play football with some friends, some tagged along to watch, some went shopping while others tried the typical english breakfast (a bit too much not gonna lie, but still super yummy). Later in the evening we all met up at the sky garden (thanks to the teacher that got us free tickets), and after some…”minor” issues, such as not being able to enter at first because the teachers were already up there 🙄 and waiting in the cold and windy night, we managed to go up and the view was spectacular! the location was also pretty cute, many of us did really aesthetic photos so i think overall we had a lot of fun that day!

Today after going to school all morning we had a bit of free time to eat. With our professor we then met at Wembley stadium to visit it from outside.

We went home to eat and get ready to then hang out all together: we went bowling.

To bowl we had to wait to much so we didn’t play but we had fun all together.

On the fourteenth day, we went to school in the morning and did some practice tests and simulations for the C1 and B2 exams. After that, we had the whole afternoon free to do the things we had not had enough time to do during the activities organised by our teachers.

Some of our classmates decided to relax and rest, while others went into central London. We decided to spend our afternoon at the Camden markets, where we bought our last souvenirs and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. We also got a piercing, visited Hamleys, the famous toy shop, and had a lot of fun together.

In the evening, we went for dinner in the same area we had visited on the fourth day. It was a lovely way to spend our free afternoon and enjoy our last moments in London together!

Before going to bed, we packed our suitcases and got everything ready for our departure the next day.

These two weeks have unfortunately come to an end. In the morning we went to school and had the graduation ceremony! After lunch, we went to the airport and took a flight to come back to Italy.Thanks to this experience we learnt and improved our English, we went beyond our limits and got to know the beauties of London. Without our teachers this wouldn't have been possible, and we really want to thank them for always being there and supporting us.

Thank you London, we will miss you!

Study trip at Eastbourne, 1st-3rd day

The first 3 days were incredible, and people in England are so nice :)))

The school is also nice and the staff doesn't hesitate to explain you something when you dont understand.

Our day at London was awesome, we went to most of the tourist spots, such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben etc. It was beautiful even if the underground had few problems
