         <description><![CDATA[<div> ~ What caught my eye in the first video was when it began discussing the touch receptors under our skin. I found it interesting that they are so sensitive that they feel even the slightest movement. It makes us very aware of the world around us and sends messages very quickly to our brain so we can react in the necessary way. It stated that in only our hands there are 600 touch sensors per square inch. Which leads me to wonder is it the most sensitive part on our body when it comes to responding to touch.<br><br>~ The next thing that was able to really grab a hold to my attention was when the video stated that our sensors can out do any computer on Earth. They sensors are so complex and a fast working that no computer is able to do what our sensors are capable of. This allows our body to to use every sense, firing at all cylinders, to send messages to our brain to allow us to complete any task at hand. It is constantly working, every second of everyday, showing that our body and it's inner workings are more complex than any computer will ever be.     </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>~ When watching video number 2, what peaked my interest was when the video stated that we have more touch sensors on our hands, tongue and lips. These are all the places we need them most, as these areas are most sensitive to touch. In comparison, our hands have thousands more touch sensors than our feet have, simply due to the fact that we need more of them on our hands because we touch most everything with our hands, meaning we need them to be highly aware of everything we touch to send messages back to the brain. <br><br>~ When watching the video, I was unaware that we have hundreds or thousands of heat sensors, until it began discussing them. Heat sensors which immediately begin working when needed activates a cooling system in order to keep our body at it's core temperature. These sensors also work with the sweat glands to help keep us cool. When we heat up our blood vessels dilate which brings blood and heat to the skin surface faster.The sweat glads extract water from the blood and releases it to the outside of our skin, and in return that helps us cool down. Which was something I did not know nor understand until the video brought it to the forefront.   </div>]]></description>
