         <description><![CDATA[<div>Didn't want to do a book report in 4th grade so I just looked up the book and wrote part of the summary that's on the back and I used a bunch of different reports and grabbed pieces from each report and turned it into my own. I didn't bother changing the words either. <br><br>Another time was when I didn't want to cite the source I used so I just copied the words and said I gathered it and passed it off as my own. <br><br>I didn't get in a lot of trouble I just got told I couldn't do that and it wouldn't work in middle school or high school or college. </div>]]></description>

This could have been corrected by just providing a quote from an informative or helpful article related to the essay topic, and citing it correctly by making sure to acknowledge the author and other important aspects that need to be referenced. </div>]]></description>

I think I have copied things like literature and art but i've never said that it was me or posted it publicly without giving a disclaimer... So I am really not sure.  Maybe I was trying to impress someone so I showed someone something that I didn't do and  they thought it was me and I didn't correct them.
