In the middle it gives many numbers of money spent, drunkards, widowed women, etc... . The picture in the middle shows that alcohol plagues and kills men. The snake killing the man represents the effects of the alcohol. At the bottom it shows the numbers of each type of person who was affected by alcohol, both directly and indirectly. It includes criminals, smothered babies, murdered wives, orphaned children, murders. and more. This wallpaper would be used because Carrie Nation believes that alcohol is the root problem of America. She ignored him and continued her movement. After they divorced she was still strong and continued her movement. She never needed any men to tell her how to do things and what to do.
